What is with the people giving smack about Amy who waited 36 years. The girl waited to be rescued. She was ALONE in a place full with handbots that can kill her. To be in that situation for 36 years can harbor a lot of hate in oneself.

And to compare it with Rory who waited 2000 years? Rory chose to wait PLUS he was protecting Amy. He knew where Amy was, he knew what was his purpose. AND HE WAS BASICALLY IMMORTAL. Amy didn’t know if she’s going to be rescued or die the next time she meets a handbot.

And why must we compare and bicker. Why can’t we just enjoy the beauty that is Amy and Rory and how OTP the two of them are. This episode shows Rory deserves Amy just as much as Amy deserves Rory. 36 years or 2000 years doesn’t matter because these two people love each other goddammit.

“I’m going to pull time apart for you” will be the most romantic thing anyone can ever say to me.
